The rugged impact resistant design of the Tetra 3 provides shock and vibration protection from accidental damage. Water and dust resistant to IP65 and IP67 standards and can be submerged in water meaning the Tetra 3 can be used and protected even when working in the toughest environments. The Tetra 3 complies with ATEX II 2G Ex db ia IIC T4 Gb (-20°C ≤ Ta ≤ +55°C) Baseefa05ATEX0187 in Europe and IECEx Ex db ia IIC T4 Gb (-20°C ≤ Ta ≤ +55°C) BAS05.0059 internationally.

Please note * Methane, Pentane, Propane, Butane, Ethylene, Hydrogen and others available. * T3 is available in a safe area CO2 version offering 0-5% carbon dioxide measurement. The CO2 sensor replaces the flammable option and can be supplied with oxygen and toxic sensors.

User safety is at the forefront of the Tetra 3, a 95 dB audible alarm, vivid red/blue visual alarm and vibration alerts ensure clear warnings are given should dangerous gas levels be detected. Real time and peak readings of gas concentration levels are shown on screen and Crowcons TWA function, allows users to view their gas exposure over a full shift even if the device has been turned off mid shift .

Sensor technology and software operation with clear calibration due warnings ensure the Tetra 3 can be trusted to always be reliable and up to date. The Litium-ion battery provides upon to 14 hours continuous use from a full charge allowing use over a full shift.

The top mounted backlit display, shows users gas readings, diagnostics and battery life at a glance. Single button operation provides a simple and easy to use device even when wearing protective clothing such as gloves. Data logging capabilities of the Tetra 3 allow for 50 hours at a 1 min data rate (>12,000 data logs of 4 channels) with threshold cataloguing starting after the adjustable pre-set levels with event logging of up to 5,000 events.
