EA Technology CS2-SBS CableSniffer
The EA Technology CS2-SBS CableSniffer eliminates the need for extensive evacuations for locating fault in cable insulation. The CS2-SBS analyses any gas emitted during the cable insulation breakdown and can pinpoint faults with a high degree of accuracy within an hour via 8mm drilled holes. The CableLocator can locate faults quickly on all low voltage (LV) power cables with an accuracy to within 1 metre.
With a ready to use kit which includes a test hole drill, the CableSniffer is easy to store, transport and use, with minimal training required to operate. The CableSniffer can sense gas concentration as low as 60ppm with the precision gas analysis taking any guess work out of fault location.
IP54 safety rated the CableSniffer is reliable and accurate cable locator with a calibration reminder for the user and user defined multi language support. The included carry case offers further protection for storage and transportation.
Using the CableSniffer alongside Reclose and Hub systems, users are able to further enhance their fault finding capabilities. The combination allows for quick and effective solutions to cable issues.
