EA Technology UltraBolt Reader

The EA Technology UltraBolt Reader is a magnetic interface tool designed to provide a fast, reliable connection between an installed UltraBolt and the UltraTEV® Plus² device. Once attached to an UltraBolt, the Reader forms a direct data link to your UltraTEV® Plus², immediately capturing ultrasonic activity from inside the switchgear. This allows operators to take accurate Partial Discharge (PD) readings without opening panels or dismantling equipment, making routine condition monitoring significantly quicker and more consistent.

Using the Reader is straightforward: simply plug it into your UltraTEV® Plus², align the magnetic head with the installed UltraBolt, and begin recording. Its design supports frontline teams by reducing setup time and eliminating variability between inspections, making it an essential accessory for any site.
