Emazys Tempirra PV Irradiance and Temperature Datalogger
The Emazys Tempirra is a compact PV data logging kit designed to capture the key measurements needed for reliable photovoltaic performance analysis. By recording solar irradiance alongside module and ambient temperature, Tempirra helps installers and engineers assess real-world panel output, spot performance losses, and investigate issues such as unexpected underproduction, shading effects, soiling, or temperature-related efficiency drop-off. Built for site work, it’s a durable, practical solution for fast deployment on rooftop and ground-mount systems where accurate, time-stamped data supports better commissioning, fault-finding, and optimisation decisions.
Tempirra uses standard RTD temperature sensors for stable, repeatable temperature measurement and is based on the Apogee SP-110-SS self-powered analogue irradiance sensor. This irradiance sensor uses a silicon-cell photodiode and is housed in a rugged, self-cleaning design to help maintain consistent readings outdoors. With simple mounting accessories included, the kit is suited to technicians who need a dependable way to log comparable performance data across different arrays, orientations, or operating conditions.
