The ETI SuperFast Thermapen® 4 Digital Penetration Thermometer measures temperature within foods from -49.9˚C to 299.9˚C with an accuracy of ±0.4˚C and a resolution of 0.1˚C across the majority of the range. It has a 110mm stainless steel penetration probe tip that can discreetly penetrate into food thanks to its small 3mm diameter and provides a reading in just three seconds. The probe folds over 180˚ back into the thermometer when not in use.

Temperature readings are shown on the ETI SuperFast Thermapen 4’s intelligent backlit LCD display which has the added benefit of automatically adjusting for the angle of the thermometer, thus ensuring the value is always readable. The thermometer also automatically turns on and off when picked up or put down in order to save the battery. A single AAA battery will power the instrument for roughly 3000 hours.

The ETI SuperFast Thermapen 4 benefits from an IP66/67 ingress protection rating and ergonomic rubber seal so the user can be sure it is resistant to ingress from water, dust or food. Furthermore, the ‘Biomaster’ silver additive in the casing reduces bacterial growth thanks to its antibacterial properties.
