Extech 407732-KIT Type 2 Sound Level Meter Kit

The Extech 407732-KIT is an all-in-one sound measurement solution designed to accurately measure sound levels across various environments and ensure that they maintain or remain compliant with noise regulations. This Type 2 Sound Level Meter Kit includes the Extech 407732 Sound Level Meter and the 407722 Sound Calibrator, along with other useful accessories, such as a microphone wind screen and a carry case. All components meet with ANSI and IEC 651 Type 2 standards and are conveniently packaged in a durable hard carrying case.

Extech 407732 Sound Level Meter

The Extech 407732 Sound Level Meter measures sound levels from 35 to 130 decibels (dB) with an accuracy of ±1.5 dB, suitable to use in quiet indoor spaces or loud industrial settings. The 407732 sound level meter features a built-in backlit 2000 count LCD screen that allows users to see readings in dimly lit environments as well as data hold and max hold functions which allows them to freeze readings or display the highest recorded level during measurement. The Extech 407732 supports A and C frequency weighting and has fast (125 ms) and slow (1 second) response times to capture short bursts of sound or provide more stable readings.

Extech 407722 Sound Calibrator

The Extech 407722 Sound Calibrator is a rugged, portable device made to verify and calibrate sound level meters like the Extech 407732, generating a stable 1 kHz sine wave at two selectable sound pressure levels: 94 dB and 114 dB. The 407722 calibrator provides a frequency accuracy of ±4% and a sound level accuracy of ±0.5 dB, ensuring precision in verification procedures, as well as total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 2% at 94 dB that delivers a clean and pure tone to avoid incorrect readings caused by signal interference. The 407722 calibrator is built for demanding environments and comes in a durable double-moulded casing that o[ers impact resistance and long-term reliability in both field and industrial settings.
