The Extech 407760 USB Sound Level Datalogger is a handy instrument that enables long-term measurement of noise levels in any given environment. It has a dynamic measurement range of 30dB to 130dB with accuracy of ±1.4dB whilst the frequency range goes from 31.5Hz to 8kHz. It meets ANSI and IEC 61672 Class 2 standards.

‘A’ or ‘C’ frequency weighting allows the Extech 407760 to focus on the most prominent band in the human hearing range if necessary and the response time can be set as fast or slow. Measurements are taken via a 0.5” electret microphone.

The Extech 407760 is a datalogging sound meter and can save 129,920 records to its internal memory at a user-defined sampling rate. All readings are recorded with a time stamp from a real-time clock and it can be started with a programmes or manual set-up. The USB interface can be used to download readings to a PC.

The Extech 407760 has a 3.6V lithium battery and comes supplied with Windows compatible software, a USB cover, a tripod, a USB extension cable and a wind muffler.
