The Extech EX820A Clamp Meter is a non-contact infrared thermometer which has been expertly designed to monitor temperature and locate hotspots on motors and electrical devices. The 43mm jaw opening is large enough for conductors up to 750MCM or two 500MCM, and the double-molded housing is able to offer a better grip for one-handed operation. The EX820A Clamp Meter is able to measure AC current only, whereas the EX840A can measure both AC and DC current.
