Extech HDV540 Articulating VideoScope Kit

The Extech HDV540 Articulating VideoScope Kit is designed to allow users to see into enclosed spaces as part of a diagnostic process in buildings, motoring, pest control and multiple other sectors. The kit features a wired handset and a camera probe that can swivel remotely through 240˚. It has a 57˚ field of view and a 2cm to 6cm focus distance that feeds back real time video to the monitor unit.

The Extech HDV540’s camera is located on the end of a 1m semi-rigid cable which can be inserted into the target area very easily thanks to small ø6mm diameter. The probe is fully waterproof, with an IP67 ingress protection rating, and has four inbuilt lamps that illuminate dull areas.

The monitor unit itself has a 3.5” colour screen with 320 x 240 pixel resolution and a glare-free field of view. Operating is undertaken via a simple push buttons and it is capable of saving up to 20,000 images on a supplied 4GB SD card. An AV output allows the user to see images on a monitor and it is possible to add voice annotations in video mode, as well as transferring files over USB.

The Extech HDV540 comes supplied with an SD card, 3.7V rechargeable battery, charger, USB cable, AV cable and hard carry case. It is covered by a one-year warranty.
