Extech LT250W Light Meter

The Extech LT250W Light Meter is a compact lux meter / illuminance meter designed for quick, repeatable checks of lighting levels in workplaces and buildings. It measures light intensity from 0 to 199,900 lux, making it suitable for routine workplace lighting inspections, storage area checks, safety/security lighting checks, and general building comfort assessments.

Readings are shown clearly on a bright, backlit 9999-count LCD, with MAX/MIN memory and data hold to capture peak levels and record results as you move between locations. A standard ¼”-20 tripod mount is included for steadier, hands-free monitoring when comparing lighting before/after adjustments.

The LT250W includes Bluetooth connectivity for use with the free ExView app on iOS and Android, enabling live viewing, trend displays, and programmable high/low audible alarms. Results can be exported as CSV files and compiled into PDF reports, with the option to include JPG photos of the measurement location taken on a connected phone or tablet, which is useful for maintenance record and client documentation.

The LT250W is part of the Extech 250W Connected Series. Using the ExView app, users can connect up to eight compatible 250W Series meters at once, making it easier to capture, trend, and report multiple environmental measurements across a site from a single mobile device.
