The Extech MG320 Insulation Multimeter is a versatile instrument capable of measuring a wide range of different electrical variables with a particular focus on insulation resistance. It has an insulation resistance range of 0 to 20GΩ with test voltages between 50V and 1000V. It has a basic accuracy of ±3% and a maximum resolution of 0.01MΩ.

In terms of multimeter functions, the Extech MG320 can measure AC/DC voltage between 0 and 600V and resistance between 0 and 20kΩ. It has true RMS correction for AC values and there is a continuity test function whilst insulation testing benefits from PI/DAR modes, step voltage and a programmable timer.

The Extech MG320 has an internal memory for up to 99 readings and has a comparator for custom test configurations and quick results. It is easy to select the measurement function and test voltage using the simple dial and other features can be accessed via the push buttons.

Readings are shown on the Extech MG320’s backlit digital display that has a data hold function and dynamic bar graph for fluctuating readings. The insulation multimeter has a Cat IV 600V safety category rating and it comes supplied with test leads, a crocodile clip, batteries, and soft case. It is covered by a one-year warranty.
