Extech RF41 Portable Battery Coolant/Glycol Refractometer (ATC)

Portable and easy to use, the Extech RF41 Portable Battery Coolant/Glycol Refractometer is ideal for accurately determining the concentration levels of ethylene/propylene glycol or measuring the overall freezing point of various types of coolant.

The Extech RF41 boasts ranges of -50 to 0°C Propylene Glycol freeze point, -50 to 0°C Ethylene Glycol freeze point and 1.15 to 1.30 Specific Gravity of Battery Acid. All measurements are calculated with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), ensuring that the effects of temperature do not have an effect on measurement accuracy.

Suitable for determining repeatable measurements by adjusting the focus slightly, the RF41 user-friendly and only requires 2 to 3 drops of solution in order to operate. It is also possible to adjust the focus of the prism and lens thanks to a built-in focus adjustment option.
