Extech RPM250W Laser Tachometer

The Extech RPM250W Laser Tachometer is a compact, non-contact meter for measuring RPM on rotating equipment such as fans, motors, rotors, and other machinery. Laser guidance supports non-contact measurements at a target distance of 50 to 500mm, helping users take readings safely without touching moving parts.

The RPM250W measures from 10 to 99,999 RPM with 0.04% basic accuracy, and also includes a counter function up to 99,999. A bright backlit LCD, data hold, and a tripod mount support repeatable checks, while auto power off helps conserve battery life during day-to-day use.

Bluetooth connectivity enables use with the free ExView app on iOS and Android for live viewing and sharing. The app supports trending, data recording, and programmable high/low audible alarms, with CSV export and PDF reports that can include photos of the measurement location.

The RPM250W is part of the Extech Connected 250W Series. Using the ExView app, users can connect up to eight compatible 250W Series meters at once to view, trend, and report multiple parameters from a single mobile device.
