Extech SDL300 Metal Vane Thermo-Anemometer/Datalogger

The Extech SDL300 Metal Vane Thermo-Anemometer/Datalogger is designed for measuring and recording air velocity and air temperature in HVAC, building services, and maintenance applications. Using a low-friction metal vane on a 1m cable, it measures air velocity from 0.4 to 35.0m/s (60 to 6900ft/min), with ±2% of reading basic accuracy.

For documentation, the SDL300 offers both manual and continuous logging. Users can store up to 99 readings manually, or log continuously to an SD with date/time stamps. Logged files are saved in an Excel-compatible format for straightforward transfer to a PC for reporting and analysis.

The large 9999-count LCD displays air velocity and temperature simultaneously. The vane temperature range is 0 to 70°C, and the meter also accepts Type K or Type J thermocouples for higher temperature measurements. A selectable sampling rate from 1 to 3600 seconds, plus Max/Min, data hold, and auto power off with disable function support repeatable surveys and longer logging sessions.
