The Extech SL250W Sound Level Meter is a compact meter for measuring sound levels in building, maintenance, and workplace assessments. It measures sound level from 30 to 130dB with A-weighting to reflect human hearing, making it suitable for routine noise checks in offices, plant areas, entertainment venues, and general building comfort monitoring.

Readings are shown clearly on the bright backlit LCD, with Max/Min memory and a data hold function for capturing peak levels and recording results between locations. Fast/Slow response selection supports both stable readings and monitoring of changing noise levels, while a standard 1/4”-20 tripod mount allows hands-free use when required.

Bluetooth connectivity enables use with the free ExView app on iOS and Android for live viewing and sharing. The app supports trend displays, visual and audible alarms, and simple reporting, helping users produce clearer documentation for maintenance records and site reports.

The SL250W is part of the Extech Connected 250W Series. Using the ExView app, users can connect up to eight compatible 250W Series meters at once to view, trend, and report multiple parameters from a single mobile device.
