Extech SL400 Personal Noise Dosimeter

The Extech SL400 Personal Noise Dosimeter is designed for measuring and documenting personal noise exposure during a working day. It supports noise accumulation surveys to help determine total sound exposure over an 8-hour period and is suitable for workplace noise assessments where consistent records are required.

The SL400 is a compact, lightweight dosimeter with a USB interface and PC software for configuring measurement setup and downloading stored data for review and reporting. It can also be used as a sound level meter, with datalogging up to 999,999 readings and selectable sampling times from 1 second to 24 hours.

For compliance-focused surveys, the SL400 supports noise survey standards including OSHA, MSHA, DOD, ACGIH, and ISO. Optional calibration accessories, such as a 94 dB calibrator, support before and after calibration checks in line with common test procedures.
