Extech TM500 12-Channel Datalogging Thermometer

The Extech TM500 12-Channel Datalogging Thermometer allows for measurement and temperature logging from up to 12 different measurement points simultaneously. The TM500 comes equipped with 12 general purpose Type K bead wire temperature probes but is compatible with six different thermocouple type probes (J, K, E, T, R and S). The 12 channel TM500 simultaneously displays channels one to eight or channels nine to twelve on the backlit LCD 3.23 x 2.40" screen.

The TM500 allows for a user programmable sampling rate of 1 to 3600 seconds with up to 99 readings manually stored on the device. The datalogging capabilities for measurements with date and time stamps saved on to an SD card for further analysis of data on a PC. SD cards can be updated up to 16G for further storage.

The Extech TM500 features a number of further functions such as Min/Max measurements for later recall, offset adjustment used for zero function or to make relative measurements, data hold and Auto power off after ten minutes of inactivity with this feature able to be disabled by the user.

The Extech TM500 features an over range and low battery indicator and measurement units in both ºC and ºF and is protected by a hard carry case for transportation and storage. The unit is powered by eight x AA 1.5V batteries but can be powered by an optional 9V AC adaptor.

The TM500 is able to perform a number of temperature measurement applications (dependent on the Thermocouple type and range) including heat distribution in thermal chambers, quality control temperature monitoring, HVAC and refrigeration, cooling systems, core temperatures in ovens and automotive design.
