The Extech UM200 is a high accuracy battery powered (Lithium Polymer) Micro-Ohmmeter allowing for very accurate measurements of both inductive and resistive loads.

The test current output of up to 10A is programmed using a rotary dial which also selects one of the six separate measurement ranges (60mΩ, 600mΩ, 6Ω, 60Ω, 600Ω and 6kΩ). This allows for measurements between 1 micro-ohm (1μΩ) and 6,000 Ohms (6kΩ); ideal for applications such as measuring bus-bar resistance, cable length, motor windings and mechanical joints to name a few. The six measurement ranges can be selected either manually, or set within the instrument setup menu to adjust automatically.

Up to 20 pre-stored ‘pass’ thresholds can be programmed into the UM200 to indicate ‘Hi/Lo’ test results for ease of use, whilst a cable length mode can be used to determine lengths of cable installed on a drum. Impressively, up to 3000 measurements can be stored within the Extech UM200 for download via USB at a later date.
