The Extech VPC260 6-Channel Particle Counter is specially designed for monitoring air quality and environmental health. It checks for harmful air pollutants such as exhaust fumes, smoke, respirable crystalline silica dust (RCS), and airborne combustible dust. The VPC260 also measures up to six channels of particle sizes including air temperature, relative humidity dew point and wet bulb. The VCP260 is capable of measuring particle sizes down to 0.3µm and supports a maximum flow rate of 0.035 ft3/min (1L/min).

Boasting a bright 2.8-inch TFT colour display, the VPC260 ensures clear data visibility under varying lighting conditions. It also allows users to configure sample times, count thresholds, and programmable delays to suit their testing requirements. The VPC260 storesup to 1,000 data sets and includes practical features such as date and time setup controls and an Auto Power Off function – which can be disabled for continuous recording.

Data management

Measurements can be exported in CSV format via the USB Type-C interface directly to a PC, making it efficient and straightforward to handle data. Users can also download the free VPC260 software (compatible with the Extech VPC260 6-Channel Particle Counter), to access additional functionality for organising, viewing, and reporting results.
