The A500 Advanced Smart Thermal Camera offers superior I/O control for integration with industrial automation systems, supporting Modbus TCP Master as well as analogue and digital control outputs. Compressed radiometric streaming reduces bandwidth usage by up to 90%, enabling efficient data transfer over networks including optional Wi-Fi. The camera supports scheduled responses such as sending images or measurement data via SFTP or SMTP, streamlining automated monitoring and reporting tasks.

Thermal imaging performance is enhanced with FSX® (Flexible Scene Enhancement) technology, which increases contrast in uniform temperature scenes and improves edge detail in low-light conditions. Motorised focus control helps maintain high accuracy for objects at varying distances, while standard functions such as spot meters, boxes, deltas, isotherms, reference temperatures, and polygon masks provide detailed and configurable measurement analysis.

Connectivity and streaming options are extensive, including multiple simultaneous RTSP video streams in visual, IR, or MSX® formats with H.264, MPEG-4, or MJPEG encoding. Radiometric data can also be streamed in compressed JPEG-LS format for high-efficiency sharing of temperature measurements. Combined with low power consumption (7.5-8.1W depending on supply) and versatile M12 connectors for Ethernet, power, and digital I/O, the A500 Advanced delivers reliable, continuous operation for demanding industrial environments.
