FLIR A500f Advanced Smart Fixed Thermal Camera (choice of lens)

The A500f Advanced Smart Fixed Thermal Camera is purpose-built for outdoor and industrial environments where fixed-mount thermal monitoring must perform without compromise. Housed in a rigged IP67 rated enclosure and rated to operate from -30°C to +50*C, it combines a robust mechanical build with high-end thermal imaging. The uncooled microbolometer detector (17 µm pitch) works across the 7.5-14 µm spectral band, and the camera supports multiple lens field of view, with motorised, manual, or one-shot contrast focus. Minimum focus distances are as low as 0.15m, whole full system integration is supported via Gigabit Ethernet (PoE), optional WiFi streaming, and RTSP/ONVIF protocols.

In terms of measurement and automation performance, the A500f offers built-in analytics and configurable alarms at the edge, enabling immediate responses without requiring external processing. It supports up to ten spot meters, ten boxes or mask polygons, deltas, isotherms, reference temperature sources and complex measurement presets, enabling rich scene analysis. Compressed radiometric JPEG-LS streaming reduces bandwidth by up to 90%, while I/O capabilities include two opto-isolated digital inputs and three opto-isolated outputs (one dedicated fault output). With a thermal resolution of 464 x 348 pixels, accuracy of ±2 °C or ±2% of reading (for ambient 15-35°C and object >0°C), and full outdoor-rated I/O and housing, the A500f is designed for continuous monitoring in the harshest conditions.

The FLIR A500f Advanced Smart Fixed Thermal Camera is available with four lens options, which are as follows:

  • FLIR A500f Advanced Smart 14° – MPN - 90604-0301
  • FLIR A500f Advanced Smart 24° – MPN - 90605-0301
  • FLIR A500f Advanced Smart 42° – MPN - 90606-0301
  • FLIR A500f Advanced Smart 80° - MPN - 90608-0301
  • FLIR A500f Advanced Smart DFOV 42° + 24° - MPN - 90612-0301
