The A700 Advanced features an uncooled microbolometer detector with a 12 µm pitch and a spectral range of 7.5-14 µm, delivering high sensitivity with a NETD of <40 mK at 30°C. It supports multiple lens options including 14°, 24°, 42°, and a Dual-FoV (24°/14°. Motorised, manual, or one-shot contrast focus ensures precise imaging across a variety of distances, with minimum focus distances as short as 0.18m for the DFOV lens.

The camera offers flexible connectivity with Gigabit Ethernet (PoE) for power and data, optional Wi-Fi streaming, and standard RTSP/GigE Vision compatibility. Digital I/O includes two opto-isolated inputs and three opto-isolated outputs, with one dedicated as a fault output. Power consumption is 8 W maximum via 24/48 V DC or PoE, and the camera is designed for robust industrial environments with IP54 standard housing, a shock rating of 25g, and vibration tolerance up to 2g.

Additional features include optional integration with FLIR Research Studio software for thermal data visualisation and analysis, a visual camera option with 5 MP resolution, and support for compressed radiometric streaming for efficient data transfer. The camera’s compact dimensions (123 x 77 x 77mm) and weight (0.82kg with 24° lens) make it suitable for flexible mounting, while UNC ¼”-20 and M4 mounting options allow straightforward installation in industrial setups.
