FLIR CM65 True RMS 600A Solar Clamp Meter

The FLIR CM65 True RMS 600A Solar Clamp Meter is a rugged handheld tool designed to accelerate and simplify photovoltaic (PV) panel testing. Built for solar repair, installers can use this device for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting on solar panel strings and inverters at new or pre-existing sites. With quick-connect solar industry standard MC4 connectors, the accuracy and safety of DC voltage measurements are improved, while the time required to pinpoint trouble is greatly reduced. An ergonomic design, generous jaw width of 30mm and features such as True RMS, LoZ & Millivolt modes make the CM65 a go-to tool for accomplishing tasks correctly and quickly.

The non-invasive AC current and voltage readings taken by the FLIR CM65 boast ensured accuracy thanks to the incorporated True RMS function. Captured AC and DC current measurements both have a 1.5% accuracy and even the smallest calibration voltage fluctuations can be detected with the Clamp's Millivolt function. The included MC4 test leads reduce the time required for live/dead testing on DC currents and the low impedance mode (LoZ) eliminates errors caused as a result of ghost voltages. With the CM65 Solar Clamp Meter measure resistance, frequency and temperature whilst troubleshooting string connections/components with a continuity test mode.

Once AC output and inverter efficiency are validated, the FLIR CM65 displays them on a backlit 6000 count display and automatically logs them within an 8GB internal memory. Use this to identify trends and anomalies, with even further insight gained by the Data Hold, Min/Max readings and relative mode function which can zero the meter.
