The FLIR LS-X/R Tactical Handheld Thermal Monocular series is built to aid those who serve and protect. With law enforcement personnel in mind, these easy-to-use imagers provide officers with a tactical advantage when looking for evidence, pursuing suspects or conducting search & rescue operations. Generating images based on infrared radiation, the LS-X and LSXR handheld optics can detect humans, animals and objects otherwise invisible to the naked eye. Operable in smoke, dust and light fog, no suspect can hide their heat signature from this portable and highly compact instrument. Where traditional night vision fails, this series of tactical monoculars is considerably more effective, even when it comes to distinguishing objects through light foliage and camouflage. Don't give away your position early or fail to spot that vital piece of evidence with the FLIR LS-X/R series.

With an internal high-resolution thermal core, the FLIR LS-X/R Tactical Monocular offers an improved eyepiece with high resolution 640 X 480 LCD display. Featuring live video output, a red laser pointer and extended zooming capabilities with up to 5x magnification, these models also utilise InstAlert hot object highlighting for enhanced detection. Portable and rugged, the intuitive control scheme makes single-hand usage possible even whilst wearing gloves. The relatively small size of the LS-X/R monoculars means they can fit into pockets or packs without requiring lots of space, ideal for a lightweight outdoor kit. With simple operation and superior thermal vision, this series is a safety-rated IP-67 and submersible.
