FLIR MR60 Professional Moisture Meter

The FLIR MR60 Professional Moisture Meter can perform both destructive and non-destructive moisture measurements via an external pin probe or integrated non-contact electrode sensors. The supplied MR02 pin probe makes it capable of measuring moisture content in several different wood types (7% to 30%, 30% to 100%) as well as other construction materials (0% to 20%) whilst the pinless function can work down to a depth of 1.9cm with a 0 to 100 relative measurement range.

The FLIR MR60 has a bright colour display that clearly shows the moisture reading. To save readings for later investigation, the meter has a handy screenshot function and the internal memory can save up to 10,000 screenshots which can then be downloaded to a PC in .csv format via the supplied USB cable. Readings are given in both a numerical and graphical format for added clarity and free FLIR Tools software allows the user to create reports using inspection results.

Various practical features make the FLIR MR60 ideal for use in the field. Firstly, the intuitive push-button operation makes it extremely easy to choose a measurement mode or set a reference value as well as to capture results. Furthermore, the compact, sturdy design means that the instrument can withstand a 3m fall so the user can be sure it will stand up to the knocks and scrapes of regular use. Finally, the 18-hour battery life will typically provide for roughly 4 weeks of work without needing another charge.

The FLIR MR60 comes supplied with an external pin probe, charger, adaptor and USB cable. It is covered by FLIR's 2-10 warranty which guarantees the sensors for 10 years and other aspects of the meter for two years.
