FLIR ONE® Thermal Camera for Android Smartphones

The FLIR ONE Thermal Camera for Android Smartphones is an affordable attachment thermal imaging camera which has been expertly designed to help professionals locate problems and complete work with speed and accuracy. With MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology, which is able to enhance thermal imaging by embossing details from the camera onto the thermal image. The user will then be able to easily recognise where the problem is located.

The FLIR ONE Thermal Camera enables users of all experience levels to work efficiently and with ease whilst on-the-go. Whether inspecting electrical panels, looking for HVAC problems, or locating water damage, the FLIR ONE is a cost-effective investment for all your problem solving needs. This lightweight, pocket-sized inspection tool can be taken to every job thanks to its compact and portable nature.

Temperature measurements are able to be taken up to 0°C – 35°C (32°F – 95°F), with a thermal resolution of 80x60 and a thermal sensitivity of 150mK. The FLIR One also has a thermal sensor with a pixel size 17µm, 8 – 14µm, spectral range and HFOV/VFOV ranges of 50° ± 1° / 38° ± 1°. FLIR also offers a plethora of compatible mobile apps with can be tailored to specific applications, with a few highlighted below.

The FLIR ONE App

The FLIR ONE App is available on both the Google Play and the Apple App Store, and can be used for a plethora of tasks to enhance the user experience. It has been specifically designed for use with the FLIR One includes the following features which will benefit the user:

  • Upload images directly to the FLIR Ignite Cloud, which can then be stored and accessed on demand.

OneFit Adjustable Connector

In order for the attachment to connect to different smartphones, the FLIR One is supplied with a OneFit Adjustable Connector which can adapt to different phone models. With the OneFit, the USB or Lightning connector is able to be extended by up to 4mm, and reversible connectors means that the One is always facing the right way on both Android and iOS phones. Another major advantage of the OneFit connector is that it can be installed without the user's phone case needing to be removes. This allows for inspections to be carried out in full confidence that the smartphone is able to be shielded from damage.
