The FLIR PV-KIT-2 Pro Solar Kit is meticulously designed to evaluate the performance, safety, and efficiency of solar panels and photovoltaic systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The user is able to measure solar string DC power and performance up to 1500 KVA at CAT III 1500 V rating, and also monitor and maintain solar power plants. Solar panel quality is able to be ensured during production, with solar irradiance able to be measured as required by IEC 62446-1.

The FLIR PV-KIT-2 Pro Solar Kit is also able to test panel performance with instant measurements of maximum power, temperature, and I-V curve. Potential issues can be detected with the provided TG268 Spot Thermal Camera, which is also compatible with FLIR MSX technology.

FLIR MSX® Image Enhancement

This product features FLIR's unique Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX), which adds key details from the onboard camera to the entire infrared image, all in real time. This provides the user with an all-in-one, undiluted thermal image that enables for the problematic area to be instantly recognised, thanks to visible light features. MSX offers real time imagery, so results can be viewed immediately on the camera's display, and action can be taken on these areas.
