FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Imaging Camera

The FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Imaging Camera is an easy-to-use, ultrasonic acoustic imaging camera which is used for the location and quantification of pressurised leaks in compressed air systems. It is able to automatically detect compressed air and vacuum leaks from up to 130 meters (427 feet) away, with noise suppression technology that ensures uninterrupted use in noisy environments, which improves accuracy and usability. A band-pass filter enables the manual tuning of the frequency range for precise inspections, with the Si1-LD's lightweight and ergonomic design allowing for single-handed operation, which is ideal when being used across fast-paced, large facilities. The acoustic image is overlaid in real time onto a digital image, enabling precise identification of the sound source, while onboard analytics quantify the associated losses.

The FLIR Si1-LD also features a plugin that enables you to import acoustic images to FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. A touchscreen interface is also able to catch high-resolution imagery, which included real-time quantifiable leak-rates and a cost prediction, allowing the user to analyse and prioritise repairs. A range of reporting options are available, which include online analysis via FLIR Acoustic Viewer, and offline reporting with FLIR Thermal Studio software. A 1280 x 720, 5" display makes the detection of components simple, with 12 MP Colour Visual, 8x Digital Zoom, and LED lamp ensure that visual details can be easily captured. The imager detects the ultrasonic sound that is emitted by issues, and is able to convert them into a real-time digital soundmap, which is overlaid on the inbuilt 12 MP camera.

Compatability with Smart Apps

FLIR's plethora of analysis and reporting software is compatible with the Si1-LD, allowing for the user to utilise the instrument to the best of its immense capabilities.

FLIR Thermal Studio

FLIR Thermal Studio software can be used to import acoustic images into the FLIR Thermal Studio Suite, for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. This allows for workflows to be streamlined, efficiency in diagnosing industrial issues, and the integration of thermal and acoustic imaging.

FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer

This cloud service allows for field analysis and reporting, with users able to visualise and interpret acoustic imagery in real time. The user will be able to pinpoint sound sources, such as leaks or mechanical issues, by overlaying acoustic data onto a digital image. It also includes features for the enhancement of image clarity, and the exportation of data for further analysis.
