The FLIR Si1-LD Acoustic Imaging Camera is an ultrasonic inspection tool designed to locate and quantify pressurised compressed-air (and vacuum) leaks quickly, even in noisy industrial environments. It uses an array of MEMS microphones to create a visual “sound image” that guides the user straight to the leak source, helping maintenance teams prioritise fixes that reduce energy waste and improve system efficiency.

Alongside pinpointing leak locations, the Si1-LD can provide real-time, quantifiable leak-rate and cost prediction to support faster decision-making and clearer reporting. Its touchscreen, lightweight one-handed design, plus reporting options through FLIR Acoustic Viewer and FLIR Thermal Studio, make it well suited to routine site surveys where speed, consistency, and documentation matter.
