The FLIR Si2a-Pro Leak and Partial Discharge Fixed Acoustic Imaging Camera is designed for continuous monitoring of compressed air and gas leaks, as well as partial discharge (PD) activity in electrical assets. Unlike periodic inspections, the Si2a-Pro provides around-the-clock visibility of critical equipment, helping identify developing issues that could otherwise be missed and become costly.

The Si2a-Pro features 124 low-noise MEMS microphones and a 2–130 kHz bandwidth, enabling it to detect, locate and assess acoustic events from a range of operating distances. Depending on the application, directional resolution ranges from 1° down to 0.125°, while the operating distance extends from 0.3 m up to 200 m. This makes it suitable for monitoring equipment and systems across a range of industrial environments.

Continuous Leak Detection

For leak detection applications, the Si2a-Pro continuously monitors for pressurised gas leaks and can estimate both leak rates and their associated costs. It can detect a variety of gases under sufficient pressure, including:
