FLIR Si2x-Pro HazLoc Acoustic Imaging Camera

The FLIR Si2x-Pro HazLoc Acoustic Imaging Camera is an ultrasonic acoustic imaging camera which has been expertly designed for use in a plethora of environments, such as where there is hazardous gas and explosive dust, and is easily-able to cut costs associated with leaks and prevent them from becoming a severe issue in the first place. Thanks to an advanced analysis tool, the Si2x-Pro is able detect partial discharge, as well as identifying mechanical bearing issues and locating compressed air and gas leaks. Delivering best in class performance with advanced leak detection, as well as mechanical fault analysis and partial dischatge classification, the Si2x-Pro is able to operate on Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (dust) locations, whilst improving the performance, safety, and cost-efficiency of these operations. The Si2x-Pro is also ATEX rated, which ensures safe use in the presence of flammable gases, vapours, dusts, and powders.

The FLIR Si2x-Pro is equipped with 124 microphones, which are able to detect sound between 2 and 130kHz, and can automatically tune into the correct frequency required. A 12MP camera takes reliable and informative images, which are then overlaid with a 'soundmap', which is the result of soundwaves being converted. The soundmap allows for technicians to pinpoint faults, such as partial discharge or compressed air and gas leaks, and take preventative action on them. The images and data that has been collated can then be saved and stored thanks to the Si2x-Pro's 128GB SD card.

Advanced Leak Detection

The FLIR Si2x-LD is able to estimate the size, rate, and cost of the leak, which allows teams to make informed decisions. The Si2x-Pro can be used to detect compressed air and gas leaks from up to 200m from the source, and is able to find and assess the following: hydrogen, carbon dioxide, methane, natural gas, helium, argon, ammonia, nitrogen, and compressed air leaks.

Fleet Management Functionality

Ideal for operations of any scale, the Si2x-LD seamlessly integrates into a fleet of imaging devices with features like fleet manager support, cloud data integration, and OTA updates. These capabilities enable data from multiple units to be unified into a single, comprehensive report, simplifying large-scale monitoring and reporting efforts.

Identifying Partial Discharge (PD)

The FLIR Si2x-Pro is able to identify partial discharge (PD), which sets it aside from the FLIR Si2x-LD Acoustic Imager. As well as the ability to detect PD, the Si2x-Pro uses artificial intelligence to classify the discharge, which assesses its severity and recommends action to be taken.
