The FLIR T912381 Air Knife is a window protection system designed for use with the FLIR Axxx IP67 Housing with Thermal & Visual windows (T912659). It helps keep the housing windows clear in environments where dust and debris could otherwise affect thermal and visual monitoring.

Using the Coanda effect, the T912381 creates a high-velocity stream of air close to the front surface of the housing. This airflow helps prevent contaminants from settling on the windows, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and making it suitable for demanding applications such as wood processing, heavy manufacturing and mining.

The air knife can be installed on either new or existing compatible housings and features durable 6000-series aluminium construction with a black anodised finish. It supports a maximum air pressure of 8 bar and should be used with properly filtered and dried compressed air to help prevent moisture, oil and other contaminants from collecting on the housing windows.
