FLIR TG268 Spot Thermal Camera with MSX

The FLIR TG268 Spot Thermal Camera is able to detect and evaluate issues that are seen through hot and cold areas, and is ideal for use in a range of environments. These include commercial electrical settings, facility maintenance, as well as automotive and HVAC applications. This 24:1 spot thermal camera has a 2.4 inch screen, and is able to reduce diagnostic time, whilst also simplifying repair and maintenance reporting. Temperatures can be accurately measured up to 400°C (752°F), with a bullseye laser pointer able to precisely measure location. The TG268 comes complete with a built-in LED worklight, which helps improve visibility in dark or poorly lit areas, as well as being 2m drop tested to ensure durability and reliability wherever it is being used.

The FLIR TG268 has a Field of View (FOV) of 44° × 57°, with the FLIR TG-Series also equipped with Super Resolution technology to enhance image quality and ensure that the user is able to receive clear imagery. Super resolution allows for images to be upscaled to 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels) resolution, which delivers sharpness and greater detail. This allows for issues to be quickly identified, both improving decision making and allowing for more reliable thermal inspections. A 5 hour continuous scanning time ensures users can get the most from their camera, with a rechargeable Li-ion battery allowing for easy recharging.

FLIR MSX® Image Enhancement

This product features FLIR's unique Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX), which adds key details from the onboard camera to the entire infrared image, all in real time. This provides the user with an all-in-one, undiluted thermal image that enables for the problematic area to be instantly recognised, thanks to visible light features. MSX offers real time imagery, so results can be viewed immediately on the camera's display, and action can be taken on these areas.

FLIR METERLiNK App

​This product is also compatible with the FLIR METERLiNK® app, which is a powerful tool for professionals seeking efficient remote monitoring and data management. It enables users to connect up to seven compatible FLIR meters simultaneously via Bluetooth®, allowing for real-time tracking of various electrical and environmental conditions. The app's intuitive dashboard displays both graphical and numerical data, including minimum, maximum, and average readings, and allows users to set custom alarm thresholds for enhanced safety and operational assurance.

The METERLiNK app facilitates comprehensive data analysis by enabling comparisons of log files from multiple meters, allowing for effective troubleshooting. Users can generate detailed, customisable PDF reports, and incorporate in data logs, images, and videos, complete with personalised logos and notes. Additional features include dark/light display modes, direct links to FLIR support for troubleshooting, automatic app updates, and text notifications for low battery, disconnected meters, or alarm events. The app is available for iOS® and Android™ devices and is compatible with a wide range of FLIR test and measurement tools that have Bluetooth® connectivity.
