FLIR TG298 High Temp Spot Thermal Camera

The FLIR TG298 High Temp Spot Thermal Camera has been expertly designed to quickly identify and assess problems by highlighting temperature differences in hot and cold areas. It is perfect for a variety of environments, including commercial electrical systems, facility maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and HVAC applications. Featuring a 30:1 spot ratio and a 2.4-inch display, the TG298 streamlines diagnostics and makes maintenance and repair reporting easier. It accurately measures temperatures up to 1080°C (1976°F), with a bullseye laser pointer for pinpoint precision. Built for tough conditions, the camera includes a bright LED work light for low-light visibility and is drop-tested from 2 meters to ensure rugged reliability.

The FLIR TG298 features a 57° × 44° Field of View (FOV), providing a wide perspective for thermal inspections. The TG-Series also incorporates Super Resolution technology, which enhances image clarity by upscaling visuals to a resolution of 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels). This results in sharper, more detailed images—making it easier to identify issues quickly, improve decision-making, and conduct more reliable thermal assessments. With up to 5 hours of continuous scanning, the TG298 is built for extended use. It comes equipped with a rechargeable Li-ion battery for convenient, hassle-free recharging.

FLIR MSX® Image Enhancement

This product features FLIR's unique Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX), which adds key details from the onboard camera to the entire infrared image, all in real time. This provides the user with an all-in-one, undiluted thermal image that enables for the problematic area to be instantly recognised, thanks to visible light features. MSX offers real time imagery, so results can be viewed immediately on the camera's display, and action can be taken on these areas.

FLIR METERLiNK App

It enables users to connect up to seven compatible FLIR meters simultaneously via Bluetooth®, allowing for real-time tracking of various electrical and environmental conditions.
