Fluke 1623-2 GEO Earth Resistance Tester

The Fluke 1623-2 GEO Earth Resistance Tester is an IP56 rated unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor earth resistance testing. Highly accurate and sporting a sizeable internal memory, the 1623 impresses with its reliable performance and usability.

This tester can perform selective and stakeless earth ground rod testing, 4 pole soil resistivity testing and 3/4 pole fall-of-potential earth resistance testing. Data collected from each test mode can be stored directly on the integrated memory (1500 records maximum) or exported to PC via USB for further analysis or longterm storage.

As initially mentioned, this model is highly user friendly and possesses some significant quality of life features. This model provides automatic prompts for the required stakes/clamps for each of the 4 test types (3/4 pole fall of potential, 4 pole soil resistivity, selective or stakeless testing) to ensure the correct connections are made. The large rotary dial is also easily manipulated with a gloved hand and test data is displayed in real-time on the large 4 digit LCD.
