Fluke 1625-2 GEO Earth Resistance Tester Kit
The Fluke 1625-2 GEO Earth Resistance Tester Kit includes all of the neccessary Fluke accessories for earth ground testing and unit portability, making it the most complete kit available for this model. In addition to the 1625-2 Tester, you will receive test leads, 4 earth ground stakes, 3 cable reels with wire, 2 clamps, batteries and a professional carrying case.
This tester boasts several unusual and distinctive features which make it a great choice for those looking to improve their workflow and reduce testing times. Primary amongst these features is the stakeless testing functionality. To use this feature, simply attach 2 clamps around the earth ground rod and attach to the tester, which will automatically determine resistance without the need for earth ground stake placement or connection. The 1625 also offers standard testing functionalities such as 3 & 4 pole fall of potential testing, 4 pole soil resistivity testing and selective earth ground rod testing.
The 1625-2 also possesses some additional functionality which improves measurement accuracy. Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) allows the device to identify interferences and automatically choose a measurement frequency which minimises any interferences and their impact on test results, improving overall accuracy. The R* measurement functionality calculates earth ground impedance at 55Hz to provide a more accurate reflection of earth ground resistance that a fault-to-earth ground would see. This unit also sports adjustable limits to provide quicker testing.
