Fluke 1630-2 FC Earth Ground Clamp

The Fluke 1630-2 FC Earth Ground Clamp offers completely stakeless earth ground resistance and AC leakage current testing. With the ability to log up to 32,760 records within the device, the 1630-2 FC enables you to test the grounding components of an electrical system where placing auxiliary testing stakes is not an option.

The stakeless measurement approach enhances the safety and reduces testing times by removing the need to disconnect parallel grounds. The specially designed jaw fits around the earth ground wire or bus bar, with a known voltage induced by the clamp, allowing the tester to determine earth ground loop resistance.

The heavy-duty clamp jaw will stay in alignment even with daily use within industrial environments. The jaws themselves offer a wide opening to ensure access for large conductors, however the slimline design of the overall unit means it’s still suitable for use in more crowded spaces.

This clamp features the ability to set custom low/high alarm settings, allowing for quick evaluation of measured values. The device also sports Fluke Connect compatibility, meaning it can connect wirelessly via the Fluke app to your mobile device or tablet. Through your mobile interface, measurements can be viewed, stored and shared via Fluke Connect Cloud including GPS location data.
