Fluke 1736 Three-Phase Power Logger

Fluke 1736 Three-Phase Power Logger is the ideal instrument for conducting load studies and energy assessments, helping you identify power quality issues before they cause critical failure or significant inefficiencies. The 1736 can capture and log over 500 power quality parameters, providing you with the key data points you need to make informed decisions on power consumption and system reliability. The device can store more than 20 separate logging sessions locally, automatically retaining all measured values to ensure you never lose trend data.

This power logger will track dips, swells and inrush currents on the measured circuit, taking regular waveform snapshots with date, timestamp and severity. Measuring these occurrences allows you to minimise false resets and circuit breaker tripping, helping improve up-time and efficiency. The 1736 can enable you to uncover the source of voltage and current distortion issues through its integrated harmonics measurement functionality, helping you avoid such issues as conductor overheating or torque pulsations in motors and generators.

The Fluke 1736 is designed to measure the most critical three phase power parameters, users are able to simultaneously log a number of parameters with enough memory to store a years worth of data:

  • RMS voltage
  • RMS current
  • Voltage
  • Voltage and current harmonics up to the 50th harmonic
  • Active power
  • Reactive power
  • Power factor
  • Active energy

Fluke 1736 applications

  • Load studies: users are able to verify electrical system capacity before adding loads.
  • Energy assessments: energy consumption can be quantified before and after improvements have been completed to help the justification of energy saving devices.
  • Harmonic measurements: Using the Fluke 1736 user are able to uncover harmonic issues that can damage for disrupt critical equipment
  • Voltage and current event capture: users are able to monitor dips, swells and inrush current that can cause false resets or nuisance circuit breaker tripping

The optimised user interface makes setup and use of this instrument intuitive and simple, with a full colour menu-driven display. Intelligent measurement verification ensures that common connection errors are avoided, with the ability to digitally correct many issues without needing to disconnect measurement leads. The touch sensitive screen is a convenient feature, making in-field use easy.

This model comes complete with a variety of probes and attachments (listed in “What’s in the Box?” section), and a soft carry case to ensure safe transportation.
