Fluke 190-502-III ScopeMeter Portable Oscilloscope 500MHz

The Fluke 190-502-III ScopeMeter prioritises high performance and functionality to create an effective test tool, that can be deployed in a wide range of environments. Equipped with the highest available safety ratings (CAT III 1000V/CAT IV 600V), the 502 has two scope inputs and two channels, and can operate for up to seven hours when used with the supplied by BP291 battery. The scope is able to capture and display unknown waveform shapes, amplitudes, or disturbances, which allows the user to idetify issues and act on them. This is due to a 5.0GS/s and 200ps resolution, which makes identification simple yet effective. The tool is also IP51 rated, which offers protection against water droplets, humidity, dust, and fluctuating temperatures, which enhances its capabilities across a range of diverse job sites. The tool is also shock-proof and built to last under continuous usage.

Designed for use in manufacturing, field service, and equipment installation, the 190-502 can effectively troubleshoot on a range of equipment. A bandwidth of 500MHz means that the sample interval is faster, leading to more accuracy and detail in results. With two scopes and an in-built ability to run power measurements, the 502 proves a versatile and necessary tool for industry professionals. When the device is in 'Scope Mode', each channel is able to store up to 10,000 samples, meaning that the 502 can hold around 20,000 samples that can be later analysed and compared. This oscilloscope can run two automatic scope measurements at the same time, and is also equipped with several exciting softwares which are listed below.

The Oscilloscope is also equipped with these exciting features:

  • Connect-and-View - this allows users to get the benefit of precise triggering automatically, without needing to manually press a button. This does not sacrifice reliability and accuracy, so the user can sit back and let Connect-and-View do the work.
  • TrendPlot - this acts as a digital recorder and stores equipment faults, eliminating the need for paper or alternative records. The ScopeMeter can identify intermittent faults, which are often challenging to locate.
  • ScopeRecord - the ScopeRecord memory can accommodate up to 30,000 or more data points per channel, adeptly capturing intermittent events and glitches as brief as 8 nanoseconds.

Fluke Connect-and-View

If the wrong settings are used on an oscilloscope, the wrong measurement data will be displayed which can severely impact the accuracy of results. Connect-and-View can recognise signal patterns, set up the correct triggering, and provide a stable and accurate display. The user can sit back as Connect-and-View automatically recognises signal changes.

Optional FlukeView

FlukeView can expand the power of Fluke's testing tools, by addressing the demands for reporting and documentation through documenting, storing, and the analysis of readings or measurements.

By selecting the kit option from the drop-down menu above, you will receive a code for the full version of FlukeView, which allows a user to edit an existing form or create a new form to customize the report to individual needs.

The 190-502-III Kit Option

The 190-502-III is supplied with a wide range of accessories, such as a Battery Charger/Mains Adaptor, BP291 Battery, and various test leads and clips that are listed in full below in the 'What's in the Box?' section. However, if you opt for the kit option, you will receive all of these accessories, plus a carry case, a code for FlukeView Software, and a Wi-Fi dongle.
