Fluke 190-504-III ScopeMeter Portable Oscilloscope 500MHz

The Fluke 190-504-III ScopeMeter is an extremely effective testing tool that can be deployed in a vast and diverse range of environments. The 504 prioritises high performance and functionality in order to create a test tool that is essential for professionals. With the highest available safety ratings (CAT III 1000V/CAT IV 600V), the tool is equipped with four scope inputs and four channels, which is operated by a BP291 battery. The scope can find and display disturbances, amplitudes, and unknown waveform shapes, allowing for the user to act on these issues before they become worse. This is due to a resolution of 200ps, which displays issues clearly, and a 5.0GS/s which makes identification simple yet effective. The tool is also IP51 rated, which offers protection against water droplets, humidity, dust, and fluctuating temperatures, which enhances its capabilities across a range of diverse job sites. This, alongside shockproofing, ensures that the tool is built to last under continuous usage.

Designed for use in manufacturing, field service, and equipment installation, the 190-502 can effectively troubleshoot on a range of equipment. A bandwidth of 500MHz means that the sample interval is faster, leading to more accuracy and detail in results. With two scopes and an in-built ability to run power measurements, the 502 proves a versatile and necessary tool for industry professionals. When the device is in 'Scope Mode', each channel is able to store up to 10,000 samples, meaning that the 502 can hold around 20,000 samples that can be later analysed and compared. This oscilloscope can run two automatic scope measurements at the same time, and is also equipped with several exciting softwares which are listed below.

The 504 is designed for use across both the industrial electronics sector, and electronic field service. Some of these applications include:

  • Automation - PLC's, Sensors, Transducers
  • Power Electronic Controls - Inverter Based; Variable Speed Drive Controllers, Uninteruptable Power Supplies, Solar Inverters, and Backup Power Systems
  • Medical Imaging - XRay, MRI, and Ultrasound Imaging Equipment
  • Avionics - Flight Line Navigation Systems, Communication Systems, Radars, and On Board Aircraft Control Systems
  • A/V & Security Systems - Retail Security Devices, Surveillance and Monitoring Equipment, and RFID

A bandwidth of 500MHz means that the sample interval is faster, which subsequently leads to more accuracy and detail in samples. With four scopes, and an in-built ability to run power measurements, the 504 presents a versatile tool that can be used by a wide range of industry professionals. When the device is in 'Scope Mode', each channel is able to store up to 10,000 samples, which means that the 504 can hold around 40,000 of them. These can be later analysed and compared, meaning the user can draw conclusions and take action.

The Oscilloscope is also equipped with these exciting features:

  • Connect-and-View - users can enjoy the convenience of precise triggering automatically, eliminating the need for manual button presses. This feature maintains reliability and accuracy, allowing users to relax while Connect-and-View handles the task.
  • TrendPlot - this serves as a digital recorder, capturing equipment faults and eliminating the necessity for paper or other record-keeping methods. The ScopeMeter excels at identifying intermittent faults, which are typically difficult to pinpoint.
  • ScopeRecord - the ScopeRecord memory is capable of accommodating up to 30,000 or more data points per channel, proficiently capturing intermittent events and glitches as brief as 8 nanoseconds.

Fluke Connect-and-View

If the wrong settings are used on an oscilloscope, the wrong measurement data will be displayed which can severely impact the accuracy of results. Connect-and-View can recognise signal patterns, set up the correct triggering, and provide a stable and accurate display. The user can sit back as Connect-and-View automatically recognises signal changes.

Optional FlukeView

FlukeView can expand the power of Fluke's testing tools, by addressing the demands for reporting and documentation through documenting, storing, and the analysis of readings or measurements.

By selecting the kit option from the drop-down menu above, you will receive a code for the full version of FlukeView, which allows a user to edit an existing form or create a new form to customize the report to individual needs.

The 190-504-III Kit Option
