Fluke 279 FC True RMS Thermal Multimeter

The Fluke 279 FC True RMS Thermal Multimeter allows users to identify electrical faults quickly and safely with it's wide range of functionality and built-in thermal imager. Allowing users to identify hot spots on high voltage equipment and transformers, the Fluke 279 FC can detect the heating of wires, fuses, insulators, connectors, splices and switches, unearthing various electrical issues rapidly and from a safe distance.

Designed as a time-saving two-in-one instrument, the Fluke 279 FC is primarily a feature-packed electrical multimeter, boasting a variety of measurement options including AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity, capacitance, frequency and more. The Fluke 279 FC also includes an iFlex flexible current clamp, allowing AC current measurement up to 2500A in those difficult to reach places.

Utilising it's integral thermal imager, the Fluke 279 FC makes scanning of electrical issues both quick and safe, offering instant visual cues of hot, potentially troublesome areas. With a thermal resolution of 102 x 77 and a measurement range of -10 °C to 200 °C (14 °F to 392 °F), the Fluke 279 FC has an internal memory capable of storing up to 100 images and it's large colour LCD screen ensure images and readings are clearly visible.

Feauturing Fluke Connect, the Fluke 279 FC allows users to wirelessly transmit to a smartphone up to 6.1 m away, allowing test results and measurements to be viewed live on a your smart device or for reports to be generated and forwarded instantly to a customer.

With a CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V safety rating and built for durability, the Fluke 279 FC is designed to withstand a 1 m (3 ft) drop, with it's raised rubber holster offering increased protection and offers a three-year standard warranty. With an auto power off function to save power, alongside the 10+ hours lifespan on it's rechargeable lithium ion battery (and a second battery available seperately), the rugid Fluke 279 FC is a great addition to any toolkit.
