Fluke 709H Precision mA Loop Calibrator with HART Comms

The Fluke 709H Precision mA Loop Calibrator with HART Comms has been expertly designed to produce accurate test results in a time-saving manner, with in-built HART communication allowing for HART commands to be performed. The 709H offers:

  • The fast transfer of data - when coupled with the optional Fluke 709H/Track software/cable, the Loop Calibrator can document all HART transmitters in the area
  • Data logging or the recording of data - The data log tool allows the user to collect data samples in a range of formats, whether that be a capture interval from 1 to 60 seconds or the logging capacity of 9800 records or 99 individual sessions

In the communicator mode, the user is able to read basic device information, perform diagnostic tests, and perform calibration on most HART-enabled transmitters. The 709H combines all of these abilities together, where in the past several instruments would have to be acquired. On top of this, the 709H is extremely easy to use, built with a user-friendly interface which reduces the time taken to source voltage or current. It is easily transported and held in the user's hands, and can work even in small, dark work areas.

HART Communication

In-built HART communication allows the 709H to perform the following commands:

  • Read message
  • Read tag, descriptor, calibration date
  • Read sensor PV information
  • Read PV output information
  • Read long tag
  • Write PV ranges (upper and lower)
  • Enter/exit fixed current mode
  • Set zero offset
  • Trim DAC zero (mA output 4mA)
  • Trim DAC gain (mA output 20mA)
  • The Fluke 709H also offers ability to store up to twenty HART device configuration files for uploading via 709H/TRACK software. via the 709H/TRACK software. Configurations can be stored as .csv or .txt files. This allows the end user to document plant HART easily
