Fluke 718EX Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator (select pressure range)

The Fluke 718EX Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator (select pressure range) allows for precision pressure management that ranges from 2 bar to 20 bar. The required pressure range can be selected from the drop down menu above.

The Fluke 718X has a standard accuracy of 0.02%, and a resolution of 0.001mA, and can operate in several areas thanks to the calibrator meeting CSA: Class 1, Div1, Groups A-D rating and ATEX: II 1 G Ex ia IIC T4 Gc standards.

The Fluke 718X Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator is available in a number of different models:

Model Range Resolution Accuarcy Burst pressure
Fluke 718X 30G -830 mbar to 2 bar (internal sensor), Over pressure: 3x FS 0.0001 bar 0.05% FS Zero, Min, Max, Hold, Damp
Fluke 718X 100G -830 mbar to 2 bar (internal sensor), Over pressure: 2x FS 0.001 bar 0.05% FS Zero, Min, Max, Hold, Damp
Fluke 718X 300G -830 mbar to 20 bar (internal sensor), Over pressure: 375 psi, 25 bar 0.0001 bar 0.05% FS Zero, Min, Max, Hold, Damp
Fluke 718X series Via pressure module connector, 29 pressure modules, 2.5 mbar to 700 bar, Over pressure per pressure module specs Per pressure module specs To 0.025% of full span, per pressure module specs Zero, Min, Max, Hold, Damp

The 718X is compact and lightweight, and operates using a simple, push-button user interface. It has been designed for use in the field, with a pressure switch test function and a rugged design for safe use. The calibrator is also fitted with a built-in pressure/vacuum hand pump, with a vernier and bleed valve.

The calibrator is battery-powered, and has a maximum battery life of 20 hours depending on which function is used. There are several modes available to users, such as pressure measurement, current measurement, and the dipslay of pressure module reading. The user can also view gage and differential values, aswell as viewing absolute pressure.

Pressure Display (External Modules)

Pressure Module Readout

  • Pressure Range - Determined by pressure module
  • Resolution - 5 digits
  • Accuracy - Determined by pressure module
  • Engineering Units (in Hg) - PSI, in. H2O (4°C), in. H2O (20°C), Kpa, cm H2O (4°C), cm H2O (20°C), BAR, mBAR, Kg/cm2, mmHg, in Hg

Operating Modes

Mode

  • Measure pressure (using internal sensor)
  • Display presure module reading (automatically selected when pressure module connected)
  • Measure current
    • Input/Output

      • Pressure Input - 1/8 in. NPT pressure fitting
      • Pressure Module Input - LEMO connector
      • Current Input - Shrouded banana jacks

      Battery

      • Power - One 9-volt alkaline battery
      • Battery Life - 4 to 20 hours, depending on functions used

      Zeroing Modes

      • Gage and Differential - Pushing 'Zero' button stores present pressure value as an offset and subtracts it from the displayed value
      • Absolute - Pushing Zero button causes nominal barometric pressure to be displayed. User corrects to actual barometric pressure with up/down keys. Difference is used as zero offset calibration
