The Fluke 789 is a troubleshooting tool designed with electricians and instrumentation professionals in mind, combining the funcionality of a loop calibrator, the power of a CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V safety rated digital multimeter, and the wireless capabilities of FlukeConnect when coupled with the Fluke IR3000FC. The 789 has an inbuilt 250-ohm HART resistor that eliminates the need to carry and additional resistor. You can also measure, source, and simulate 2-20mA signals, measure resistance, measure & provide power to the loop, aswell as providing 250-ohm resistance. The 789 also includes SpanCheck and 0% and 100% buttons to toggle between 4 and 20 mA sourcing.
