The Fluke a283FC AC/DC Current Clamp has been designed for use alongside the Fluke 283FC Digital Multimeter that has been designed to simplify the troubleshooting process whilst ensure safety and reliability is never compromised. The clamp is capable of measuring both AC and DC current up to 60A to provide accurate and reliable test measurements in a number of applications including solar installations, electrical systems and industrial equipments.

Thanks to its non contact design, the a283FC Current Clamp, allows for the safe connection without the need for to touch live wires so measurements can be taken from a safe distance. The clamp carries a CAT III 1500V and CAT IV 1000V to match the safety rating of the 283FC

Boasting wireless connectivity, the a283FC clamp allows for the transferring of test measurement and eliminating the issue of tangled leads. With a 34mm jaw, the thin design allows access to combiner boxes and tight spaces to further enhance the efficiency of the measurement process.

The LED indicator indicates both the wireless connection snd data transmission status. Battery powered, the clamp has a typical use of up to 80 hours with the battery indicator showing the battery status.
