Fluke IRR2-BT Solar Site Survey Irradiance Meter

The Fluke IRR2-BT Solar Site Survey Irradiance Meter is ideal for critical measurements that are needed for installing, testing, maintaining and reporting on solar panels and photovoltaic systems with one simple to use tool.

The IRR2-BT allows for the measurement of irradiance up to 1400 W/m2, temperature (-30 °C to 100 °C), inclination (-90° to +90°) and solar array direction. The rugged and and compact deign of the meter alongside the easy to read LCD screen allowing for data to be viewed even in direct sunlight allowing for site surveys to be conducted even in tough working conditions. Instant solar irradiation measurements and the built in temperature sensor meet IEC 62446-1 testing requirements providing the watt per square meter solar irradiation.

The IRR2-BT boasts an integrated compass and inclination sensor allowing the user to quickly measure and document the roof and site orientation, pitch and panel tilt when conducting surveys, installing or adjusting installations.

The IRR2-BT features wireless connection allowing for any recorded irradiance or temperature measurements with the Fluke SMFT-1000 Solar PV Multifunction Tester and I-V Curve Tracer to instantly determine the I-V curve of any panels under test.

The Fluke IRR2-BT is battery powered using four AA batteries that provide ups to 50 hours usage (9000 readings). Battery life is preserved using the Auto power off function after 30 minutes of inactivity. The IRR2-BT also includes a mounting bracket for accurate irradiance and temperature readings at the panel.
