The Franklin Electric CELLTRON™ Ultra Battery Tester integrates cutting-edge conductance technology, modern portable electronics, and streamlined data management for fast, easy, safe, and precise battery maintenance. With straightforward functionality, the instrument is equipped with an icon-based menu and pre-loaded data on over 200 battery models. This eases both record-keeping and testing, with over 250 set reference/benchmark values stored to assist in the development of battery pass/fail thresholds. The CELLTRON™ Ultra Battery Tester has a plethora of exciting features, including:

  • Testing - The status of a jar can be measured in voltages and conductance values, with the latter displayed in mhos.
  • Battery Setup - Set up testing parameters such as site name, test type (jars only or jars with straps), and battery voltage (2V or 16V).
  • Battery Manager - The data of 12 battery manufacturers is pre-loaded to make testing easier.
  • Reports - Results can be stored, printed, or transferred to a PC.
  • Utilities Setup - Adjust warning thresholds, select temperature units (°C or °F), switch between automatic and manual testing modes, and update to the latest firmware.
  • Digital Multimeter - Measures AC & DC voltage, with a current and scope mode.

The CELLTRON™ Ultra Battery Tester also features a rugged, acid-resistant ABS plastic enclosure with a sure-grip overmold, designed to withstand the demands of tough testing environments. It has been rigorously drop-tested from 1 meter across six axes, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliable performance in the field. The device also includes a comprehensive set of accessories, making it easy to conduct fast, accurate, and safe battery testing with minimal setup time.

The kit is supplied with a wide range of accessories, such as dual contact probes, lighted probe extenders, test clamps, an infrared temperature sensor, and a thermal printer for instant results. It also features rechargeable battery packs, a 32MB SD card for data storage, and CELLTRAQ Express software for battery management, all housed in a durable ballistic nylon backpack for easy transport. The kit provides CELLTRAQ™ Express software, which is a battery asset management software designed to streamline battery testing and maintenance. It enables users to store, analyze, and report test data from the CELLTRON™ Ultra Battery Tester, helping to track battery health and performance over time. The software supports efficient data organization, trend analysis, and compliance reporting, making it easier to manage stationary power systems and ensure reliability.
