Franklin UNITE™ Asset Management Database

The UNITE™ Asset Management Database is able to provide centralised data storage for an entire network of battery plants, enabling analysis and reporting from a centralised location. This sophisticated IoT database features advanced data visualisation tools for Franklin Electric handheld battery testers and battery monitoring systems. UNITE presents detailed views of all key performance indicators for each plant, string, and individual battery within a network. Battery attributes including voltage, temperature, conductance, and strap resistance can be selected and compared among batteries within the string for quick visualisation of performance trends.

The user is able to quickly review the status of the entire battery network with green (normal), yellow (warning), and red (alarm) status indicators at the plant, string, or individual battery level. Each alarm or warning status then provides a direct link to a list of events for quick targeting and diagnosis of the problem area. At individual battery level, UNITE is able to provide a diagnostic snapshot of all key battery health indicators. Additionally, a historical timeline of all previous readings is displayed, allowing users to dive into any point in time to review details.

The Benefits of Franklin UNITE Software

UNITE is able to centralise battery testing, and monitors data across multiple locations. An entire network can be visualised on a single map, with the ability to quicky focus in on those areas that need attention. Health and performances metrics can be viewed on one platform, which enhances decision making, system efficiency, and allows for maintenance to be prioritised. Reporting is also simplified, with the user able to choose between simple string reports generated with a single click, or highly customised report templates. This flexibility helps to streamline compliance by providing tailored, standardised reports with minimal effort.

Franklin UNITE’s View Options

Franklin UNITE™ Asset Management Database has several different views that the user can utilise, such as:

  • Network Oversight – the user is able to visualise the entire plant network geographically in a single plant map view, which allows for the status of these plants to be visually confirmed. There is also an organisation view, which allows for users to view, setup, and manage all CELLGUARD™ Wireless Battery Monitoring System and CELLTRON™ Advantage Digital Battery Tester organisations in a single view.
  • Plant Oversight – plant view allows for all strings, devices, and batteries within a plant to be viewed in a single dashboard, with quick access to alarms and warning possible. A string view is also available, which allows for focus on a single string, with ability to drill into key performance information on individual batteries.
  • Battery Oversight – the user is able to utilise battery view to dive into present and historical data of individual batteries within a string. Key performance indicators and trending data can be visualised to pinpoint batteries in need of replacement with accuracy. Discharge view also displays a graphical timeline view of every string discharge event for advanced performance analysis and NERC compliance reporting. Discharge data includes start time, end time, voltage, temperature, and current.
  • Network Analysis – allows the user to see a detailed biew of all active and inactive events within the organisation, with both warning and alarm conditions appearing based on pre-set thresholds. A battery string report PDF can be generated to streamline reporting and compliance requirements, with reports including the latest battery data, a string overview table and graph, battery reference information, battery threshold details, and more.
