The Hikmicro AI56 Acoustic Imaging Camera is a professional tool for sound localisation, providing as easy and effective way to locate any pressurised air leaks in industrial environments, gas leak detection and detecting partial discharge in high voltage systems. The handled and portable camera is built with 64 low-noise MEMs microphones and an adjustable bandwidth range of 2kHz to 60kHz allows for discovery of potential safety risks and minimise equipment failures and downtime. The A156 is able to detect sound from distances between 0.3m up to 100m allowing for inspection of high voltage and hazardous equipment from a safe distance.

The AI56's 800 x 480 resolution 4.3 inch LCD touch screen presents the measurements on top of a digital image allowing users to quickly find the source of the faults. The AI56 provides a user defined 1.0x to 8.0x continuous digital zoom with acoustic images captured in real time to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound. The peak point and centre point of a target is also shown on the screen for analysis. With a 5MP resolution optical module, users are able to adjust the opacity of the acoustic image and view both acoustic and optical images simultaneously.

The Hikmicro AI56 provides automatic noise and interference filtering with a signal to noise ratio up to 70dB, noise filtering through algorithm. A large value indicates that the noise in the link is smaller relative to the effective signal. The AI56 allows the operator to choose between eight colour palettes: white black, black white, rainbow, fusion, ironbow, red black, rain and blue red, providing different image display options. The AI56 allows the user to view the leak rate (L/min) providing data to estimate energy loss annually.

The A156 has a removable 64GB MicroSD card, allowing for up to 20,000 images or 60 hours of video. Users can add 200 text characters or 60 seconds of voice annotations to image or videos to provide further analysis when needed. The A156 includes two Li-ion batteries each providing up to 3.5 hours use from a full charge, providing users the opportunity to use the camera for a full day in the field. The AI56 is IP40 rated and drop tested from 1.2m. The Hikmicro AI56 is further protected by the carry case, providing protection in transportation and storage of the camera.
