Hikmicro AI76 Acoustic Imaging Camera

The Hikmicro AI76 Acoustic Imaging Camera is a diagnostic tool designed to detect gas leaks and partial discharges in industrial and electrical environments. Featuring 136 low-noise MEMS microphones and an adjustable frequency range of 0 to 96kHz, the AI76 ensures users locate even the smallest compressed air or gas leaks with high accuracy, detecting leaks as small as 0.0047 L/min at 6 bar from just half a metre away.

In addition to leak detection, the AI76 is engineered to identify partial discharge faults, including corona, surface, floating, and particle discharges, making it an important tool for electrical maintenance teams. It automatically detects discharge types at either 50 or 60Hz and provides real-time visual feedback by overlaying acoustic data onto a digital image.

The AI76 Acoustic Imaging Camera features a large 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen display with an 800 × 480 resolution, offering a clear and intuitive interface to visualise sound data. With eight acoustic palettes to choose from and a digital zoom range of 1x to 16x, users can tailor their view for maximum clarity in any environment. The AI76 captures acoustic images at 25fps and stores them on a removable 64 GB SD card that is capable of holding up to 18000 images or 60 hours of video.

The included Analyser Acoustic Software streamlines data analysis and reporting, allowing users to review, annotate (via voice or text), and export professional inspection reports. The AI76 also includes built-in Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, USB-C, and HDMI-D ports, offering flexible data transfer and connectivity. Built for field use, the AI76 is IP54 rated, drop-tested to 1.2 metres, and is able to operate in harsh environments that range from –20 °C to 50 °C. It is powered by a rechargeable, swappable Li-ion battery offering around 2 hours of runtime per charge.
